Are you one of those who have been wondering which artistes the Katikkiro of Buganda, Charles Peter Mayiga, enjoys during his free time or the songs he dances to while in the shower or when he goes out?

No more wonder. The Katikkiro has named his favorite Ugandan musicians and songs.

While speaking in an interview with local television, Mayiga was asked if he also gets time off from his busy schedule to attend music events or at least listen to music.

He responded, “I used to be a party animal, but nowadays I have no time.”

Nonetheless, he said that he’s a big fan of music in general and Ugandan music in particular.

Surprisingly, the Katikkiro is well conversant with the latest trends in the local music industry.

“I love Spice Diana and I enjoy her latest song, Mbika. I like Fik Fameica’s collaboration with Spice ‘Am Ready’.

Pallaso’s song ‘Malamu’ is a good one. Vinka also has nice music, but I like one of her latest songs, ‘Thank’,” he said.
