Museveni re-appoints Ofwono Opondo as Uganda Media Centre boss

President Museveni has re-appointed Ofwono Opondo to head the Uganda Media Centre (UMC) for another three years.

Opondo, who replaced Fred Opolot has been in the position since 2013. This is the fourth time Museveni is renewing his appointment.

The new three-year contract means Opondo will serve in the capacity until 2025.
