As WhatsApp experienced a global outage, Twitter poked fun at WhatsApp users with hilarious memes.

As users flocked to Twitter during the outage, which started shortly after noon, it quickly turned into a meme-fest.

Many users stated that at first they believed the issue was with their internet service.
