A video of a boy who suddenly switched from crying to laughing has been trending for several weeks.

Social media reports indicate that the boy behind the viral video is a one Albert Ofosu Nketia, aged 7 from Ghana.

Local websites from Ghana, reveal that the video was first posted on YouTube by Oheneba Media.

The mother of the little kid, Rosina, is quoted explaining that the young boy broke down in tears because he was denied a specific dinner he craved but instantly started laughing as his grandma tried to comfort him by singing a funny song.

Ghana's 7-year-old Albert Ofosu Nketia has become an internet sensation following a viral video of him crying then laughing.

He asked his mum for yam, but she gave him plantain instead, and he started crying.

 “I prepared him some unripe plantains because I had them on hand. When he saw the stew, he broke down in tears,” she narrated.

The mother disclosed that the video was not intended to go public as it was recorded with intention of sharing it with the boy’s father.
