Nail-biting finish awaits in the thrilling conclusion of 2022/23 UPL Season

The 2022–23 Star Times Uganda Premier League (UPL) season is set for an exhilarating conclusion this Saturday, May 27, with the title up for grabs among the top three teams on the table.

Sports Club Villa, the record champions with 16 titles, defending champions Vipers Sports Club, and KCCA FC all have a shot at securing the championship in their respective home matches.

The trophy could go KCCA, Villa or Vipers’ way.

SC Villa, currently leading the table with 53 points, will face URA FC in a highly anticipated showdown at Muteesa II Stadium, Wankulukuku.

Vipers will battle against Busoga United at St. Mary’s Stadium in Kitende, while KCCA FC will take on Bright Stars at the Phillip Omondi Stadium in Lugogo.

Bobkins Kibirige from Kibo Media, Fufa’s marketing agency had the trophy visit the three clubs that could lift it as a build up to the nail-bitting final day.

SC Villa, who last claimed the league title in 2004, will face URA FC hoping to avoid a nightmare and end their 19-year title drought.

Vipers and KCCA will need to secure maximum points and rely on SC Villa slipping up to have a chance at the title.

This Saturday promises an exciting climax to the 2022/23 UPL season as the top contenders vie for glory.
