In an impressive display of their commitment to public safety, the police and other security agencies showcased their role in safeguarding the pilgrims during the Uganda Martyrs Day celebrations held in Namugongo and the surrounding areas.

Over the past two weeks, law enforcement personnel have established camps in and around the Catholic and Anglican Shrines. However, the last three days witnessed an extraordinary surge in pilgrim numbers, placing an immense workload on the security forces.
