Police in Adjumani have arrested a 13-year-old pupil for hitting his colleague with a blow that killed him instantly for abusing and telling him that he’s dense in class.

North West Nile region police spokesperson Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) Dragudu Ignatius said that the incident happened in Adjumani town council involving Rashid Kawawa, a primary four pupil from Biyaya primary school and resident of Biyaya village. An argument ensued between Rashid and Alimo Mazarawo.

According to SP Dragudu, the young individuals were engaged in a game of football when Rashid unintentionally collided with Alimo. This accident seemed to trigger Alimo’s anger, leading him to verbally berate Rashid, labelling him as dense and consistently lagging behind in class performance.
