A dramatic incident unfolded in one of the villages in Uganda when a swarm of bees attacked a couple who had stolen a cow from a local resident.

A video capturing the bizarre scene has been circulating on social media, showing the couple being questioned by UPDF officers while a swarm of bees hovers around their right hand.

The male suspect admitted to the theft, confessing that they had stolen the cow and managed to sell it for Shs750,000. Meanwhile, the female suspect explained that her boyfriend had involved her in transporting the stolen cow to the prospective buyer, an invitation she reluctantly accepted.

She went on to reveal that following the sale of the cow, they used the money to purchase a smartphone and indulged in alcohol and food. The female suspect appealed to the authorities for forgiveness, expressing their willingness to accept any form of punishment for their actions.

As seen in the video, a UPDF officer inquires among the gathered residents for the contact details of a witch doctor, hinting at a traditional cleansing ritual for the couple before they are taken into custody.
