Singer Moses Ssali alias Bebe Cool, has shared advice for his son, Alpha Thierry Ssali, as the youngster enjoys a promising start to his career at Express FC.

Alpha Ssali, who has been making waves with Express FC, recently left a mark on the football scene by scoring an impressive goal, contributing to the team’s 1-0 victory over Bright Stars.

In a game that took place at Wankulukuku during Match-day Four of the 2023-24 StarTimes Uganda Premier League season, Alpha displayed exceptional control in the penalty area. He volleyed the ball into the net just two minutes into the game, securing Express FC’s triumph.

In response to a post made by sports journalist Denis Bbosa, who described Alpha as a ‘work in progress’ and suggested he might need about three seasons to fully realize his potential, Bebe Cool said that football encompasses much more than simply kicking a ball.

Bebe Cool shared, “It’s Allah, discipline, humbleness, hard smart work, creating followings, confidence, practicing, mental strength, the ability to differentiate between the coach’s instructions and individual interests or brilliance, knowing the importance of working as a team of 24, respecting yourself and your teammates, and most of all, ignoring social media coaches and concentrating on the head coach’s instructions.”

He further added, “Indeed, work in progress, and I am sure with where Alpha Ssali has come from, one day he will make it with all your support. Insha Allah. Let’s be positive.”

In August, Alpha Ssali signed a two-year contract with Express FC, which will run until 2025.
