Uganda Cranes Vs Somalia 4 pm

Uganda Cranes are gearing up for a crucial clash this evening in the FIFA World Cup qualifiers 2026, eyeing their first victory as they face off against Somalia.

Paul Joseph Put’s squad is determined to bounce back after a disappointing 2-1 defeat to Guinea in their opening match, where the West Africans secured a late winner. Similarly, Somalia suffered a 3-1 loss against Algeria.

The Cranes will be hosting the game in Morocco, negating any home advantage, as both teams find themselves on neutral ground.

However, history favours the Cranes in this matchup. The two teams have met on six previous occasions, and Uganda emerged victorious in all encounters. Impressively, the Cranes have netted 21 goals while conceding only two.

Nevertheless, tonight’s fixture marks the first FIFA-recognized meeting between the two sides, adding an element of unpredictability to the encounter.

For Uganda, securing a win is imperative if they harbour aspirations of progressing in Group G, which includes formidable opponents such as Algeria, Guinea, Mozambique, and Botswana.

The Cranes are poised to bring their A-game to the pitch, aiming to secure a crucial victory that will set the tone for their journey in the World Cup qualifiers.
