Expanded Kabira Country Club, a recreational marvel set to change Bukoto skyline

Upon completion, the newly expanded Kabira Country Club in the leafy suburb of Bukoto will be a recreational marvel to behold.

Already, classified as a four-star facility by the Uganda Tourism Board in November 2023, the five-star will be calling when the upgrade is completed.

Vcon Construction Uganda Limited, a firm owned by tycoon Sudhir Ruparelia who also owns the facility, is undertaking the upgrade and the facility is expected to be completed this year.

Sudhir recently completed what is now East Africa’s biggest convention centre in Speke Resort and Convention Centre in Munyonyo and it has already hosted several international conferences including the G77+China and NAM Summits. Now his sights are on the completion of Kabira among other projects he is concurrently undertaking.

The expanded portion comprises of a shopping mall, 350 fully furnished apartments and and 110 square metre luxurious hotel.

The project also belongs to businessman Sudhir who has for long invested in real estate and leisure industry owning a string of magnificent hotels, mega buildings in Kampala and across the country.

Currently, Kabira Country Club is a go to place for accommodation, well-being and fine dining.

The facility boasts a well-equipped all-in-one holistic experience health club that includes a half Olympic-sized swimming pool, kids’ pool, and gym, as well as tennis, basketball & squash courts.

There is a multi-cuisine restaurant most famed for its Mongolian dinner plus a well-stocked bar aptly named The Pub as well as Bake-O-Logy, the in-house Bakery for the freshest pastries.

For accommodation, the facility currently has a 6-nights-1-night-free offer in the newly renovated and re-designed rooms.
