NMG, MTN Uganda, and YOTVChannels join forces to expand digital footprint

Nation Media Group, in collaboration with the telecommunications giant MTN Uganda and the local streaming platform YOTVChannels, has announced a strategic partnership aimed at transforming how audiences access premium content online.

During the press conference this afternoon at the Kampala Serena Hotel, the triumvirate revealed a strategic shift towards a ‘digital first’ approach by Nation Media Group.

This tripartite agreement designates the YOTVChannels App as the official digital platform for Nation Media Group, consolidating a rich tapestry of offerings into a single, easily accessible hub.

Susan Kayemba, SM Digital Service at MTN Uganda, emphasized the affordability of their data bundles, offering tailored subscriptions for specific content durations. For example, users can subscribe for an hour to access NTV news, making premium content accessible to a broader audience.

Key Highlights of this partnership will include All-Digital Access: The YOTVChannels App ensures seamless access to premium content, placing Nation Media Group’s diverse offerings just a click away in the digital era. This move is poised to redefine convenience in the way audiences engage with their preferred content.

Early Access: Audiences will relish exclusive early access to a wide spectrum of content, including news, shows, and publications. This not only provides a competitive edge in staying updated but also enhances the overall entertainment experience. Unprecedented Convenience: The centralization of content on the YOTVChannels platform offers unparalleled convenience, empowering audiences to access their favourite shows, news, and publications anytime, anywhere. It’s a leap forward in meeting the evolving expectations of today’s digital consumers.
