Actress Stella Nante has been unveiled as the new host of the popular morning show on NTV Uganda, Mwasuze Mutya. She replaces Ruth Kalibbala, who recently stepped down from the position after just five months.

Kalibbala replaced Faridah Nakazibwe, who hosted the show for over a decade.

Stella Nante has already begun her duties on the show today, with singer Spice Diana as her first guest.

Nante brings a wealth of experience from her appearances in various dramas such as Deception, Second Chance, and The Honorablez.

Besides being an actress and now a TV host, Nante is also a scriptwriter and assistant director.

In one of the many interviews she has had, Nante revealed that her breakthrough in the film industry came in 2018 when she acted as Jackie in Deception.

“It opened doors for me as I got more opportunities,” Nante was quoted as saying.
