Fans can expect a soulful, stripped-down performance of some of their most iconic tracks, with hopeful anticipation for classics like Jim, Obangaina, Sikulimba and more. These are songs that have stood the test of time, and continue to inspire sing-alongs and dancefloors across the country.

Expect six songs, six Conversessions with each performance promising not only to entertain but to also take fans on a walk down memory lane.

While Conversessions is known for its beautifully intimate performances, it is also a space where artistes reveal the stories behind their sound. The upcoming episode with Afrigo Band promises to dive into the band’s rich history and explore their evolution, triumphs, and challenges over the years.

“This episode is will not only be a masterclass in longevity but a tribute to a band that has used the power of music to connect generations,” said Mercy Atwongyeire, Project Manager UBL. “Expect heartfelt moments, a touch of humour, and maybe even a few surprises. It’s Afrigo like you’ve never seen them before; up close, unplugged and unfiltered.”

Stay tuned for what promises to be a captivating musical experience with one of Uganda’s finest this May.
