Premier Distilleries Limited has officially concluded its highly successful Bikole Masavu campaign, a nationwide celebration held at the company’s head offices in Kagoma.

Launched three months ago to mark 25 years of the company’s service to Ugandan consumers, the campaign has left a remarkable impact on both individuals and communities from all corners of the country.

Over the course of the campaign, more than one million Ugandans took part, with over 350,000 winners walking away with rewards that ranged from airtime and mobile money to motorcycles, tuk-tuks, smartphones, television sets and a grand prize of UGX 50 million which went to one lucky winner, turning their good times into life-changing moments.

At the finale, the night’s biggest moment came when Peter Kassaga, a local trader from Kampala was announced as the grand prize winner of UGX 50 million.

Kassaga shared his story, revealing that he has been drinking Coffee Spirit for three years and is grateful that he has been rewarded for his loyalty. He hopes to use the UGX 50 million to start up a farm and improve his livelihood.

“Since the start of Bikole Masavu, I made it a point to buy at least three bottles of Coffee Spirit every day. I’ve invested over 500,000 shillings in this journey. I am so happy to see all my hard work pay off,” he said, smiling broadly as he spoke at the event with his winning cheque in hand.

Speaking during the event, Godfrey Sseruta, Head of Sales, Premier Distilleries Limited expressed immense gratitude to Ugandans for their overwhelming participation and enthusiasm.

“Bikole Masavu has been a celebration of our customers and our shared journey over the past 25 years. The response has been phenomenal with tens of thousands of people taking part from all regions of Uganda. Beyond the prizes, what truly stands out is how this campaign brought people together, creating laughter, excitement and opportunities wherever we went,” Sseruta noted.

The Bikole Masavu road activations reached over 50 districts across Uganda, making stops in both urban centers and rural towns. From Mbale to Kabale, Mukono to Mubende, at every stop, the campaign created vibrant scenes filled with music, dance and community celebration. Small businesses that stocked Premier Distilleries products also benefited significantly, reporting increased sales and renewed customer engagement.

Sseruta also emphasized that while the campaign focused on celebration, it also carried a message of responsible drinking and consumer safety.

“We made sure every activation encouraged moderation and educated consumers on identifying genuine alcohol products. It’s our responsibility to ensure that our celebrations remain safe and responsible. Together, we have proven that when Ugandans come together to celebrate responsibly, life truly becomes sweeter,” he added.

The finale event hosted by media personalities Ronnie McVex and Jommie Nankya saw musical performances from rapper Fefe Bussi, Karole Kasita and rap battles led by social media influencer, Shirtless Boss.

The Bikole Masavu campaign has reaffirmed Premier Distilleries’ commitment to celebrating Uganda’s vibrant social culture while fostering meaningful impact. It has also demonstrated the company’s innovative spirit in connecting with consumers through fun, creativity and rewarding experiences.
