As the Christmas and New Year holiday season approaches, Speke Resort Munyonyo—Uganda’s largest resort—is offering individuals, friends and families an opportunity to enjoy an elevated festive experience.
The lakeside property, owned by businessman Sudhir Ruparelia, has unveiled its Festive Staycation Packages, featuring luxurious accommodation, special holiday meals and a variety of family-friendly activities, all at attractive seasonal rates.
The resort has released special accommodation prices for the Christmas period, with exclusive offers before, during and after Christmas, extending into the New Year.
On December 24 and 25, a Deluxe Room (Single) will cost $176 (about Shs645,000), a Deluxe Room (Double) $262 (about Shs963,000), a Studio Room $299 (about Shs1.1m), and a Superior Room $324 (about Shs1.19m).
The same offer includes an Executive Room at $324 (about Shs1.19m), a One-Bedroom Suite at $550 (about Shs2.02m), an Executive Suite at $600 (about Shs2.2m), a Garden Villa at $547 (about Shs2.01m), a Presidential Cottage at $647 (about Shs2.38m), and a Presidential Suite at $1,000 (about Shs3.68m).
Between December 19 and 23, and again from December 26 to January 4, rates become even more affordable.

A Deluxe Room (Single) will cost $139 (about Shs510,000), a Deluxe Room (Double) $188 (about Shs690,000), a Studio Room $225 (about Shs825,000), and a Superior Room $250 (about Shs918,750).
During this period, an Executive Room will also be $250 (about Shs918,750), a One-Bedroom Suite $450 (about Shs1.65m), an Executive Suite $500 (about Shs1.84m), a Garden Villa $399 (about Shs1.47m), a Presidential Cottage $498 (about Shs1.83m), and the Presidential Suite $800 (about Shs2.94m).
All prices are per night, inclusive of taxes, and offered on a full-board basis—covering breakfast, lunch and dinner. Guests will also enjoy complimentary access to the swimming pool, gym, steam and sauna.
