StarTimes is planning Star Kids Gala, new children program to air on ST Kids Channel, 18:00 CAT on June 1st as part of programs to commemorate the International Children’s Day celebrated every June 1 in most of the countries.

The 30-minute length English program will be a compilation of dances, songs, magic shows and other fascinating content to be enjoyed by the young audience.

ST Kids is one of the most popular channels among children on the StarTimes platform. During the pandemic, a special program titled Homeschooling was launched for children to keep up their learning pace with their peers when offline schools are not available, and thus to create more topics for the young ones to talk about.

The StarTimes Brand & Marketing Director Isma Lule said the programming seeks to address increasing parents’ concerns over children’s viewing habits and mounting demand for wholesome indigenous family entertainment.

“It is quite a hard time for everyone, however, together with all parents, StarTimes would like to offer a joyful time for the young audience especially on their own festival. With our e-commerce platform StarTimes Go, you can now shop online by going to ugmall.startimestv.com to make an order for a StarTimes decoder or any other product of your choice or call 0317117700,” he said.

StarTimes’s programming is available in seven genres: children, documentary, news and current affairs, music, movies and general entertainment, sport and religion.
