A building named Nasser Road Mall is making rounds on social media and attracting hilarious comments.

Nasser Road is the headquarters of making documents in Uganda – of course some of them are never genuine.

There is talk of people who walked to Nasser Road and walked away with university transcripts and they are now gainfully employed.

So, if the President Yoweri Museveni says the Covid-19 lockdown is lifted on shopping malls but arcades are not yet safe, what does Nasser Road do? Of course, an arcade will become a mall. Nasser Road also happens to be the headquarters of signage in Uganda, so this isn’t hard to do.

What we are not sure of is if the building was called Nasser Road Mall before the lockdown. What we are sure of is that it is a fairly new building that is still letting out space to prospective tenants.
