Nigeria is the Mecca of music when it comes to Africa. Their big stars have earned international recognition and breaking through in the Nigerian market means at the very least a continental breakthrough.

Radio and Weasel arrived in Lagos Nigeria on Saturday night, just minutes before they picked up the Best Reggae/Ragga award in the All Africa Music Awards gala.

The duo also performed, bringing down the house.

After their recent collaboration with Wiz Kid, they are serious about making a name in Nigeria and on Sunday they hit the studio with Wande Coal, who is one of Nigeria’s biggest acts. Wande Coal is signed to Don Jazzy’s Mavin Records together with Tiwa Savage and he is currently riding high on a collabo with Mr Flavor that is on high rotation on Trace TV.

The two flew to Lagos with producer Washington to help give their collabos the Ugandan touch.

2015 could be a good year for the boys who have spent most of 2014 in wrangles and property disputes with their former Jeff Kiwanuka.
