[dropcap]Y[/dropcap]ou might not have heard about him in Uganda, but Ghana’s dancehall artiste, Stonebwoy has won the Best International Act Africa trophy at the 2015 BET Awards.

And Ugandans should relax, because he is not in the same category as Ugandan homeboy Eddy Kenzo. He beat East Africa’s representatives Kenya’s Sauti Sol, fellow Ghanaian Sarkodie, DRC’s Fally Ipupa, South Africa’s AKA and The Soil plus Nigeria’s Wizkid and Yemi Alade.won

This was Stonebwoy’s first ever nomination for the international award but he is the biggest act in the West African nation at the moment, having picked up the Artiste of The Year and Plus Reggae/Dancehall Song of The Year  and Reggae Dancehall Singer of The Year at the recent Ghana Entertainment Awards.
