South African duo Mafikizolo arrived in the country last evening ahead of their show at the Uganda Tourism Expo finale and Awards gala night to be held this evening at the Kampala Serena Hotel.

“We are always happy to be in Uganda, the people are warm and friendly,” group member Nhanlaa said.

The duo behind songs like Khona and Ndihamba Nawe was last here in late 2014 and they put up a memorable performance.

As guests of Uganda Tourism Board, Mafikizolo are expecting to see some of the Pearl Of Africa’s tourist attractions.

“The last time we were here, we left immediately after the show. We didn’t have time to explore this beautiful country, but we now hope to see some of the things that make Uganda the Pearl of Africa,” Theo told journalists at the airport.

“It is holiday season and many South Africans are looking for places to visit. We could recommend some of the places we see,” Nhahahaha chipped in.
