Yesterday, Security Minister Maj. Gen. Henry Tumukunde decided to mediate the land wrangles in Busabala, involving the residents and singer Bobi Wine.

The residents narrated to Tumukunde that police provides security to an unknown group of men linked to singer Bobi Wine who invade the community and destroy their houses and gardens.

The ghetto gladiator Bobi Wine who owns One Love Beach in Busabala has today posted on his social media wall, distancing himself from the acts.

“There is a deliberate move to tarnish my name by some people who hate me for no reason, I want to make it clear that I am neither involved nor do I have any link to the demolition of people’s houses in Busabala,” the singer said.

Bobi continued to say that, “It is not the first time such lies are put against me, I have never destroyed anybody’s property and it’s absurd that even ministers were invited to a public meeting but they could not stand on their two feet and tell the truth. I own a Beach in Busabala but not everything that happens in Busabala is my responsibility,” he said.
