Singer Bebe Cool will be celebrating 18 years in the music industry at his Life of Bebe Cool concert to be held at the Kampala Serena Hotel on Friday August 5th.

While announcing the concert during a press conference at Liquid Silk on Friday, Bebe Cool said he dubbed the concert Life of Bebe Cool to “celebrate the life of a living legend” with his fans.

“It’s important that we appreciate the good people have done when they are still alive. My brother Jose Chameleone was right when he sang the song Basiima Ogenze, I think he should do a re-make, asking people to celebrate others when they are still alive. I will be celebrating my life with my fans at the concert,” Bebe said.

The singer also announced that Silk Events, who used to handle his outdoor concerts will this time handle the technical aspects of the concert. The previous two concerts at Serena have been handled by another service provider.

“Silk Events began the whole journey with me. I am back home where all this began,” he said.

Johnnie Walker, MTN, SMS One, Chano8, 24 Media and yourstrully Matooke Republic are the event’s sponsors.

Regular tickets will cost Shs100,000 and tables go for Shs5m. They are on sale at Liquid Silk. You better book your’s fast as only 1,500 tickets are available.
