bobi wine4Just a day after Bebe Cool announced his Life of Bebe Cool concert, his traditional rival Bobi Wine has also announced his concert, though it will take place slightly more than a month after Bebe’s.

Bobi Wine released posters for his 2016 concert, dubbed Aidah Bikwase Kyagulanyi that is slated to take place on October 15 at his One Love Beach in Busabala.

“As usual, no sound limit, no time limit,” the singer said. The statement is in reference to KCCA rules that stipulate shows in Kampala are supposed to end by midnight and also the fact that there are stipulated decibels show organisers are not supposed to exceed.

The self-proclaimed Ghetto President missed out on cashing in on the recent presidential campaigns as he was not part of President Yoweri Museveni’s Tubonga Nawe project where a dozen artistes drummed up support for Mzee’s campaign.

However, this turned out a blessing as supporters of opposition candidate Rtd. Col. Dr. Kiiza Besigye have endeared themselves to him and the self-proclaimed ghetto president has turned himself into a voice of the opposition, releasing songs with heavy political undertones and he is also rumoured to nurture ambitions to represent the people of Kyadondo East in Parliament after area MP Apollo Kantinti was recently thrown out by Parliament.
