After former Login presenter Anne Nakawombe was fired from NTV together with a colleague Kevin Kaija last week, a series of photos and videos whose content showed a male and female having s3x in an office went viral, with the originators of the photos saying it was Nakawombe and her colleague.
These turned out to be false as the same images as were first released in May and linked to a university lecturer who was getting it on with a student.
Besides, Nakwombe and Kaija are both female and these pictures depicted a man and a woman.
In her response to posts that were linked to her hence tarnishing her image, Nakawombe who also goes by the name Anne Nixons, distanced herself from the images.
“I have seen and endured non-factual and character assassination reports, photos and video links that have only sought to damage my reputation,” she said in a statement.
Nakawombe and Kaija were both fired for what NTV termed as gross misconduct. However, the TV station didn’t come out to state exactly what they had done wrong.
