Wizkid continues to prove that he is by far Africa’s most trending singer at the moment. With major achievements that included a mega breakthrough into the top American music circles, coupled with a big win at the recently concluded MAMAs in South Africa, Wizkid is clearly on a roll and his new demands can prove that.
First, the Carol singer asked for a whopping $140,000 (about Shs462m), to perform in Kampala. The latest on our desk is that Wizkid will be flying in with a 20-man squad for his December concert in Kampala. According to a reliable source, the squad will comprise all members of his band, his personal security, managers, producers and his own media team. Wizkid will be performing at the Lugogo Cricket Oval on December 3 at a Face TV and Star Times organised event.
