WCW: Juliana Kanyomozi,the queen returns for her throne

Those who thought songbird Juliana Kanyomozi had lost it, the queen is back!  Juliana, one of the sweetest songbirds the Pearl has ever known is back with a bang and soon to drop her new song “I’m Still Here.” We can’t help but crush on the singer whose music helped set the entertainment bar higher.



The Kalibatanya hit maker who is also an actress was last active on the entertainment scene during the presidential elections courtesy of the NRM Tubonga Nawe campaign song.

She hails from a long line of talented musicians including her father who was a drummer and her grandmother who was also a vocalist.

The diva who was born on November 27, 1982 attended the renowned school of music and drama talent, Namasagala College in Kamuli District. Juliana is not only the queen of Pop and R&B but she is also a princess as she is a first cousin to king Rukudi IV of Toro.

Said to be East Africa’s most adored female singer, Juliana’s music career and humble personality has made her a woman of substance piling her with a lot of major awards.  Her latest being Most Inspirational Song Award in the 2016 Zzina Awards for her song “Woman”.

Apart from being the first female to win the Pearl of Africa Music Awards as Artist of the Year, the Nabikoowa hit maker has also won, Best Female Artist East Africa in the 2013 Kora Awards, Most Gifted Artist in the Super Talent Awards, Best International Afrobeats Act in the BEFFTA Awards Uk, Best East African Collabo in the Kisima Awards, Best East African Song of The Year and several more prestigious awards.
