Ugandans love pork. In fact we are ranked asthe highest pork consumers in Africa according to the International Livestock Research Insitute. Little wonder hundreds of enthusiasts attended the pork expo at Namboole.
Organised by Pig Production Ltd, the event had two components, workshops teaching the best pig rearing practices and the feasting area while revellers enjoyed pork cooked in different ways.
The was roast pork, fried pork, katogo pork, pork rollex, honey glazed pork, pork ribs, pork chops name it.
The two-day event is still ongoing at Namboole.
