NTV’s The Beat host Douglas Lwanga seems to be planning a bigger move of his long time initiated Purple Party. According to Lwanga’s recent post on his official Facebook page, the respected presenter narrated the journey of his event.

“One day on my office desk at Record TV i thought of an end of year event. It was just a small party idea for just a few fans. It was never meant to be serious. So we did this 3years at Wandegeya Bull Dog. The crowd rose and the venue grew smaller until everyone suggested we moved to a bigger night club. We then opted to go to club venom. Venom too became a small venue for the increasing followers. The fifth year we went to Lido Beach for a beach party edition”, he posted.

For the past two years, Douglas has been holding regional tour events dubbed a similar theme but he said the growing following is forcing him to make another bigger move.
