The legendary Awilo Longomba to grace Eddy Kenzo’s show this Friday

According to a video making rounds on Instagram, the legendary Congolese music superstar Awilo Longomba not only endorsed Eddy Kenzo’s January 4 show dubbed 10 Years of Eddy Kenzo but he also confirmed that he will be in attendance to witness history being made in a video making rounds on Instagram.

Growing up, many of us danced to the tunes and rhymes of Awilo Longomba the waste shaking sensational musician whose music made us get off our seats will be with us come January 4 at the Kampala Serena Hotel.

Awilo Longomba is a Congolese musician who was a drummer in Viva la Musica, Stukas, Nouvelle Generation and Loketo. In 1995, he finally quit drumming for singing and released his first album Moto Pamba with help from Shimita, Ballou Canta, Dindo Yogo, Dally Kimoko, Sam Mangwana, Syran Mbenza and Rigo Star.

The January 4 musical concert is slated to celebrate Kenzo’s 10 years of musical success and to share it with fans.

Tickets are on sale at Shs. 100,000 for Ordinary, Shs. 300,000 for VIP, and Shs 3m for a table. You can get your ticket(s) at Serena Hotel, Airtel shop at Game mall, Airtel Shop at Thobani mall, and Airtel shop at Shoprite Ben Kiwanuka Street.
