Kato Lubwama: I am going to ‘kill’ Khalifa Aganaga’s ambitions with silence, I am tired of people using my ‘big’ name to achieve their dreams

In a media interview discussing Aganaga Khalifa’s bid to dislodge him from the Rubaga South parliamentary seat, Hon. Kato Lubwama has said that he will not discuss Aganaga Khalifa so that he doesn’t give the ‘little-known singer’ a platform to achieve his career dreams. (Isn’t there some irony in saying you will not discuss someone on an interview where you’re discussing that person?)

‘… I’m going to ‘kill’ Aganaga’s ambitions with silence because once a popular person like me responds to him, he gets a name,” Kato Lubwama said.

“I slapped Bajjo Events and it got him a ‘little’ name, and Aganaga will also become famous if I discuss him,” the comical MP added .

In the same spirit, Kato Lubwama advised ‘little’ Khalifa Aganaga to solely fight for his dreams (of becoming Rubaga South MP) with involving his (Lubwama) ‘big’ name.

“Let him leave me out of his efforts to fight for his dreams,” Lubwama said, adding that he is not against Aganaga’s political aspirations and visions but only wants the young singer to empower himself without trying to involve him (Kato Lubwama) in cat fights.

A month ago, Khalifa Aganaga confirmed his intention to face off with Kato Lubwama for the Rubaga South MP seat come 2021. The singer further displayed his excellent UACE grades (AABB, 23 points)and later joined Kansanga-based Kampala International University (KIU) for an undergraduate degree in Law.
