Tusker Lite Kampala Night Run treats revelers to a fun-packed event

Sunday Night at Torino Bar and Restaurant was one that can only be described as ‘Lit’ coupled with fun and adventure as hundreds of thrill seekers and party lovers turned up for the second edition of the Tusker Lite Kampala Night Run.

Runners reported to the start off line by 6:30 pm and raced through the glowed up three km route within the uptown nocturnal streets of Kololo and back to Torino Bar and Restaurant in clear excitement to complete the run.

Elisha Mugabi who came in first place was excited about having won the race, not forgetting the first and second runners up, Moses Kasuule and Kizza Moses.

Revelers were also given a chance to participate in friendly competitions placed under the neon category where social media users voted for; Most Stylish Runner, Most Stylish Squad, Best Running Shoes, Most Stylish Gear and were given Tusker Lite Hampers for properly adhering to the theme of the night. 

After the run, the finish point was transformed into a colourful affair with the glow-in-the-dark theme ruling the street as partygoers showed off their dance strokes. The highlight of the night came in from the Winnie Nwagi and “Party People Crew” who kept the crowd in dance mood throughout on top of the many spirited performances that came in from Irene Ntale, Pallaso, Hit Nature, B2C soldiers, Roger Kent, Wendy amongst many others.

“As Tusker Lite, we are all about pushing boundaries and I believe we have made a signature mark in Uganda with what we have witnessed here today. The Tusker Lite Kampala Night Run is a unique adventurous event that suits our consumers who look out for fun hip moments, we will be bring more of this next year,” said Cathy Twesigye, Brand Manager Premium Beers.

By all measures the event which was orchestrated for fun-lovers and moonlight fitness freaks gave participants the opportunity to jump out of their comfort zones and join in on an exciting new experience for the evening.
