All set for the first edition of ‘My Culture My Identity’ Gala

To add fun to Uganda’s events calendar, Culture World is set to hold the first edition of ‘My Culture My Identity’ Gala at Uganda Museum. It is slated for June 22.

The festival has been tailored to inspire people’s views on culture as an asset they can turn to for wealth, health and happiness. Cultural leaders, dignitaries and cultural enthusiasts are expected to attend. The event with be coupled with a lineup of activities like bazaar, performances, fashion show, poetry, exhibitions, mini-tournaments and comedy.

There will also be games like board games (Mweso and Ddulu) and multi-player games encompassing ‘kwepena’. Winners shall walk away with instant prizes.

“This is the kind of event everyone must attend. It will be all about celebrating the cultural diversity of Uganda in a fun and educative environment,” the event organisers said.

Tickets will go for Shs20000 Ordinary, VIP Shs50000 and a table Shs1000000.
