There are many ways of releasing pain. Some punch pillows and bags, others run it off, others go for therapy while others cry and scream, and others sing about it. Naluswa Teddy Bugingo is in the last category. The estranged wife to House of Prayer Ministries pastor Aloysius Bugingo has composed and released a song about her pain.

The song titled “Mukama Akumanyi”, talks about different kinds of pain and disappointments like losing a job, starving, failing to get a child in a marriage, losing a marriage, chronic sickness, among others. Some of these are the exact things Naluswa has gone through in her life, and has become the talk of town in recent months.

Teddy goes ahead to preach patience, strength, and encourage people not to cry and despair but put all their trust in God, who gives the ultimate comfort to those going through hard times, and empowers them to win their battles.

It should be remembered that ever since her marriage took a downward spiral, Naluswa has received disheartening comments about her life and health by his husband during their 29-year marriage.

She had chosen silence as her weapon, but has now opened up about her pain in this song that is actually surprisingly beautiful to listen to. Pain and heartbreak are known to be big inspirations to great music, and they have done the same to Naluswa.
