Towards the end of last year, rumour had it that the once famous WBS TV was on the road to recovery and that it would soon hit the airwaves. By the look of things, it was just that; a rumour, and we might never see WBS TV again, at least not now.

News reaching us is that Next Media Services, the parents company of several media houses including NBS Television, Sanyuka TV, Salaam TV, and Nxt Radio is soon relocating from Media Plaza in Kamwokya to Naguru hill to occupy the property that was the home of WBS TV.

It is reported that Next Media entered into a lease arrangement with former WBS boss Gordon Wavamuno after he retained ownership of the property that had been taken over by sports broadcaster Kwese TV during WBS liquidation.
