“East or West, NTV is best” – NTV stings NBS TV over return of prodigal son Raymond Mujuni

It is not news anymore that Raymond Mujuni abdicated duty at NBS TV to re-join former employers NTV. In an emotional tweet-cum-thread, Mujuni said that he had capped his time at the Kamwokya-based Next Media Services, the parent company of NBS TV, and thanked his now former employers and colleagues for the time well-served.

After all was said and done, with the goodbyes, kissed and also, NTV seems to have rubbed a sore wound at Next Media Services sharing a Raymong Mujuni poster on social media with the phrase, “East or West, NTV is best”.

This is a phrase that could have implied that home, which is NTV is better than NBS TV, where the prodigal son had run off to.

It should be remembered that Mujuni made his name at NTV a few years ago before moving to NBS TV, so his return to the Serena Hotel-based television station is seen as ‘coming home.’

Regardless of the jab, we shall continue to enjoy good television which Raymond Mujuni has always steered forward.
