On Sunday, news broke that unidentified people had hacked into, and took charge of the People Power’s Ghetto TV page.

The hackers went ahead and removed all administrators from the page that is popularly known for covering all Bobi Wine’s political activities.

Bobi Wine immediately came out and said; “A shameful, shameful regime. They are scared by the love broadcasts which Ghetto TV has been doing of all our activities. The evidence is all over that the regime has never been as panicky as it is now.”

Self proclaimed number one blogger Ashburg Kato who a few months ago confirmed his exit from People Power camp and embraced the National Resistance Movement has excitedly bragged about his successful mission of reclaiming Ghetto TV.

In a live video streamed on the hacked Ghetto TV page, Ashburg confirmed being behind the plot to hack the page. He said he owned the online channel but the People Power administrators had kicked him out.

“Those saying I hacked Ghetto TV are wrong; I only reclaimed what belongs to me,” Ashburg said.

The page has now been changed to promoting President Yoweri Museveni’s political agendas for the forthcoming elections.
