Swangz Avenue singer, Azawi has finally announced the release date and title for her upcoming debut album.
The album will be titled “African Music”, and will be released on 9th October, 2021.
She made the announcement in a video shared on her socials.
“I have to let you know that about 98 percent of the work on the album is done. My debut music album title is African Music and it is gonna drop on Uganda’s Independence Day,” she said in the video.
However, she doesn’t give away much about the album and there’s no mention of which artists feature on the album or the track list.
Meanwhile, Azawi has already released two singles off the upcoming album. The first single off the album, “My Year”, was released over 3 months ago to so much acclaim from the fans. The second single, “Slow Dancing”, was released early this month.
Azawi broke onto the music scene last year with an EP that featured songs like Quinamino, Repeat it and Lo Fit.
