Naira Ali to perform at the massive Ankara Festival in Los Angeles

Ugandan songbird Naira Ali has been listed among the performers at the 11th edition of the Ankara African Fashion and Music Festival in Los Angeles, United States, her music
director has confirmed.

The Ankara Festival Los Angeles showcases African culture through fashion, arts, music, dance and food.The concert is slated for September 5, at Globe Theater, 740 S Broadway, Los Angeles, CA 900014.

Naira Ali’s music Director, Mayi Baligeyankoona said that Naira will join other African superstars including Flavour N’bania aka Mr. Flavour at the show whose ticket prices range between USD 70 for general admission to USD 1000 for VIP.

“Ankara Festival Los Angeles was created in 2010 with the aim to increase the visibility of African culture through fashion, arts, music, dance and food. The goal is to showcase modern African designs in African print (Ankara), established African and African inspired designers, up and coming designers, who want a venue to showcase what they can do, and also develop their entrepreneurial ambition in the international fashion arena,” said Mayi
