Afriwood Studioz announces the release of first drama film; Mania

Afriwood Studioz Limited is proud to announce the release of film called Mania, a dramatic thriller starring budding actress Grace Genevieve Tusiime, Angèl Toni Acer, Rwomushana Denise, Josephine Kabahuma and Jeff Roberts Walusimbi & directed by a multi-award winning director Kizito Samuel Saviour.

Mania is the story of Emma, a young man who gets convicted for a crime he never committed in a bid to save his sister Ella who gets caught up in a murder mystery that claims the life of her possessive friend Caren and his Girlfriend Vicky. William his best friend tries his best to bail him out.

A feature film, Mania is an inaugural project of a newly established Ugandan Production House called Afriwood Studioz Limited and co- produced by film proprietors Angel Toni Acer and Actress Grace Genevieve Tusiime

Angèl Toni Acer is an actor and professional model who has majored in commercials, print and runway modeling, and Film. Mania is his most recent film where he features as Emma.

With a nomination in South Africa’s UGU film festival and three (3) international selections, Mania will officially be premiered at National Theatre (Uganda) on
11th November 2022.
