Top Model Uganda will hold its maiden talent search show this December, with the search show targeted at making new model discoveries in Uganda.
The platform that boosts some reputable international placements will be taking place on December 4th, 2022 at the Mestil Hotel Kampala, in partnership with New Victoria Club Kireka, MSH designs, John Jo fashions, and Nexus events.
The show, whose main objective is to scout, uplift, and empower aspiring models, will kick off with its preliminary event at Nexus Club, in Najjera, on October, 18th, 2022.
The event will have celebrated pageant queen and Miss Uganda 2011 Slyvia Namutebi Alybhai, bridal designer Brenda Maraka, and Dr. Jimmy Spire Ssentongo as the judges for the show that will double as the launch event.
According to Kamoga Sula, the Business Relations Associate for this franchise, the show is expected to make some remarkable discoveries as far as talent is concerned.
“Our goal is to make a difference, mentor educate, and empower young girls in Uganda by offering a platform like this one that propels them for careers on the international stage.”
And with this edition, the emerging winners will get to represent Uganda at Top Model Worldwide in the UK. We have had a series of training for our girls mainly to have them empowered in various spheres of life, including personal branding, digital marketing, reproductive health, and others, “Sula said.
