Friday evening at the MTN Arena ended on a high note as four teams played Game Five of the Tusker Lite-sponsored National Basketball League.

The City Oilers and the JKL Lady Dolphins were the night’s expected winners hoping to lift their winning trophies but the Nam Blazers and the UCU Lady Canons came out victorious, pushing the playoffs to Game Six.

JKL Lady Dolphins who are women’s title holders lost 48-62 to university side UCU Lady Canons whilst City Oilers who have won the title for the past seven straight seasons lost 65-70 to newcomers Nam Blazers.
