Musician-turned-politician Robert Kyagulanyi alias Bobi Wine, has expressed his views on music battles, highlighting their positive impact on the entertainment industry. He believes these battles foster healthy competition and create a vibrant atmosphere.

Bobi Wine noted that in the past, music battles were often physical confrontations, but presently battles rely more on wit and creativity rather than physical violence.

“Music battles are a valuable addition to the industry, provided they are conducted professionally,” Bobi Wine said during an appearance on KFM’s VPN show.

As for the eagerly awaited Cindy-Sheebah music battle set for September 15 at the Kololo Airstrip, Bobi Wine acknowledged his status as an industry veteran and the expectation that he should remain neutral. However, he openly expressed his personal preference for Cindy.

In 2014, Bobi Wine and Cindy released the hit song “Dilemma,” featuring Jamaican singer Mr. G, which garnered widespread acclaim and airplay.

Bobi Wine, however, urged music enthusiasts to attend the battle event and show support for both artists.
