Congolese singer and songwriter Fally Ipupa is set to rock Ugandan music lovers at two concerts, that will take place in Arua and Kampala, respectively.

Known for his distinctive musical style that fuses Rumba, Soukous, and Lingala, the Grammy Award nominee is slated to perform in Arua on Friday, September 29th, and later in Kampala on Sunday, October 1st, thanks to I&M Bank Uganda.

Fally Ipupa’s performances are known to be infectious and full of energy, the same clout I&M Bank associate themselves with, as they continue to make their mark since their entry into the Ugandan market, after acquiring Orient Bank in 2021.

“This is a great opportunity for I&M Bank to collaborate with an artist of Fally Ipupa’s stature. His works overtime spell excellence, something we relate to. We set out to make a mark in every way we can impact our customers, and being part of such a concert is a progressive step,” said Joseph Fetaa, the Head of Products and Channels at I&M Bank.

I&M Bank and Fally Ipupa fit the bill as the perfect brand and right artist, respectively, which makes for a great strategy for growth.

The bank continues to make great strides through such strategic partnerships that are aimed at helping it realize its goal of becoming Uganda’s leading financial partner for growth.

“Such a partnership does not only provide a perfect platform for us to connect with our customers outside the bank, but also offers a great opportunity to celebrate with them,” said Annette Nakiyaga, the head of Marketing and Corporate Affairs at I&M Bank.

Fally Ipupa has passed the test of time as a crowd puller in the different countries he has performed.

With seven globally sold-out albums to his name, his performance in Uganda will give revellers a first-hand opportunity to rhyme and groove to some of his biggest tunes like Un coup, Maria PM, Aime-moi, You The Best, Likolo, Eloko Oyo and Diamant among others.

The event is Organised by Malembe Events, and is proudly sponsored by I&M Bank, Next Media, Fenon Productions, Nile Breweries Ltd, Pearl Rides, and Children of Uganda.

Tickets for both shows can be accessed by logging in to quicket.co.ug.
