Inaugural Jinjera Reggae Overdrive Festival slated for next Saturday

The inaugural Jinjera Reggae Overdrive Festival is set to take place at Nile Nest in Jinja next week on Saturday, March 9.

With a theme of ‘bringing Amsterdam and Jamaica closer to home,’ the event will kick off at 6 am and run until 6 pm the following day.

Humble Management, the organizers, promises attendees a fantastic experience filled with great reggae vibes and endless fun. The festival will become an annual affair, aiming to come back bigger and better each year.

A lineup of performers including Cindy Sanyu, Ziza Bafana, Nutty Neithan, and Janzi Band among others is set to grace the stage, ensuring that attendees are entertained throughout the event.

Sam Ssemakula, a member of Humble Management, expressed excitement about the event.

“Let us celebrate the great city of Jinja and its beautiful heritage in a reggae overdrive,” said Ssemakula.

Early bird tickets for the festival are available at Shs70k, while tickets purchased at the gate will be Shs100k.
