The launch of Rearrange, a tourism-themed album by Ugandan musician Apollo BW, turned into a passionate call for Ugandans to promote their country’s beauty and cultural heritage.
The event, held at Tales Lounge, attracted artists, tourism enthusiasts, and government officials who gathered not only to celebrate music but also to highlight Uganda’s tourism potential.
While speaking at the event, the State Minister for Tourism, Martin Mugarra Bahinduka, praised the artist for using music as a platform to showcase the country’s landscapes, culture, and identity.
The minister urged Ugandans to put aside political differences and unite in promoting the country they share.

He noted that although politics can divide opinions, Ugandans should always remember the beauty and opportunities their country offers.
Bahinduka said his travels across the country have convinced him that Uganda stands out for its natural attractions, friendly people, favourable weather, and diverse cuisine.
According to the minister, projects like Rearrange play an important role in promoting domestic tourism and strengthening Uganda’s image locally and internationally.
He revealed that significant resources had been invested in producing the album and encouraged tourism promoters and event organisers to involve Apollo BW in future tourism campaigns and promotional events.
Bahinduka also challenged ordinary Ugandans to play a role in promoting the country by sharing positive stories and visuals about Uganda.
He said people do not need major resources to contribute to tourism promotion. Anyone with a good camera or smartphone, he noted, can record and share videos that highlight the country’s beauty.
The album’s lead song, Ohh Uganda, captures the project’s central message by celebrating the country’s natural scenery and cultural richness.
Speaking about the project, Apollo BW explained that the aim of the album was to showcase Uganda in a positive light and inspire pride among citizens.

Bahinduka commended the artist for travelling across different parts of the country to capture striking images and footage used in the project.
He described the musician as a strong ambassador for Uganda, saying his work could help promote the country both at home and abroad.Tourism Minister Rallies Ugandans to Promote Country’s Beauty at Apollo BW Album Launch
