Keddi Foundation contributes Shs56 million towards the Busoga Royal Wedding

The Keddi Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to combating poverty, diseases, and inequity, has contributed $15,000 (about Shs56 million) towards the upcoming Busoga Royal Wedding.

Led by its founder, Keddi Steve, a delegation from the Keddi Foundation visited the Busoga Kingdom headquarters in Bugembe to officially hand over their financial support for the significant event.

Keddi Steve expressed his organization’s deep appreciation for the overwhelming support received from the Busoga Region, emphasizing their desire to actively participate in the forthcoming Busoga Royal Wedding, a momentous occasion in the enduring history of Busoga.

“As Keddi Foundation, we have consistently received tremendous backing from the Busoga Region, and we wish to be an integral part of the upcoming Busoga Royal Wedding by making a substantial contribution to this remarkable event,” Keddi Steve remarked.

In addition to the financial contribution, the Keddi Foundation also extended their commitment to education, one of their primary focus areas. They provided scholarships for educational opportunities and donated four computers.

Busoga Kingdom’s 2nd Deputy Prime Minister, Ahmed Osman Noor, warmly welcomed the generous donation from the Keddi Foundation.

“We are immensely grateful for the team’s unwavering dedication to the Kyabazinga wedding and the Busoga Kingdom. Their commitment to uplifting Abasoga through education, healthcare, and shared interests is deeply appreciated,” Noor expressed.

The royal wedding between Kyabazinga William Gabula Nadiope IV and Her Royal Highness Jovia Mutesi is due on November 18, 2023.

The Keddi Foundation’s contribution reflects their commitment to promoting positive change in the region and their support for significant cultural celebrations in Busoga.
