Ugandan fashion designer Abbas Kaijuka scoops two Zikomo Awards in Zambia

Ugandan fashion designer, Abbas Kaijuka, the creative force behind Kai’s Divo Collections, has clinched two awards at the Zikomo Awards held in Lusaka, Zambia.

Abbas secured the titles of “Fashion Designer of the Year, Africa” and “Costume Designer of the Year, Africa 2023,” showcasing his prowess in crafting innovative designs that transcend the realms of fashion and extend into the performing arts, film, and music.

This recognition in Zambia marks yet another milestone for Abbas, who has previously been honoured on a continental scale with awards spanning across Africa, including Ghana, Nigeria, and South Africa.
