Sundays in Kampala just got a serious upgrade, thanks to a new fine dining hotspot- Baoli Restaurant and Lounge, that rolled out a new lifestyle experience yesterday- Sunday May 3rd.
A tasteful blend of luxury, music, and fine dining, the event offered an evening escape into what might easily become Kampala’s next social ritual for premium party seekers.
Right from the entrance, it was clear this wasn’t going to be your typical brunch. Guests were welcomed with a black carpet walkway, with two violinists that played soothing renditions of familiar tunes, setting the tone for an elegant and calm outing.
Inside Baoli, the atmosphere was lively and warm, with a live band performance that filled the air with smooth melodies, as guests mingled while sipping off Don Julio cocktails and shots.
The three-course meal, crafted by Baoli’s South African-born in-house chef, was nothing short of a culinary delight. From starter to dessert, every plate was a celebration of flavour and finesse which were a true highlight of the evening.
But perhaps the biggest moment of the night was when Sheila Gashumba- aka Lil Stunner, took to the decks for her official deejaying debut.
The socialite and party host turned the tables- literally, as she gave the crowd a set that many didn’t see coming.
Her selection was fresh, current, and had everyone vibing. For a first major gig, she owned it, and the crowd’s reactions were all the validation she needed.
Behind the scenes, the collaboration with Don Julio gave the event its luxe backbone. The premium tequila brand was right at home in this upscale environment, perfectly aligning with the evening’s mood of indulgence and sophistication.
