The 2024/2025 Premier League season wrapped up on Sunday night and Kampala football fans had front-row seats to all the action, thanks to Guinness Matchday on Tour.

The final stop of this electric nationwide fan experience brought the house down at UMA Showgrounds, Lugogo, in a celebration that proved once again why Guinness is the ultimate beer of football.

After months of traveling across the country Guinness Matchday on Tour returned to Kampala for one last showdown, and the energy was simply unmatched. Despite an afternoon downpour, fans showed up, dressed in their team colours, ready to witness the drama of the final matches unfold and what a finale it was!

From the tension of top-four battles to Liverpool lifting the trophy, the action on screen kept hearts pounding and fans on the edge of their seats.

But Guinness didn’t just serve football, it served flavour and fun in classic style. With interactive games, fiery football trivia, fan debates, and surprise giveaways, the vibes stayed high from kickoff to curtain call.

And when the final whistle blew? The party had only just begun. DJ Buggy cranked up the tempo with his signature mixes that had fans on their feet, while Vinka, Uganda’s very own superstar, lit up the night with an incredible performance that turned the venue into one big dance floor. From the football viewing to the party, Guinness made sure every moment was unforgettable.

“This season, we set out to redefine what matchdays mean to fans and we did just that,” said Denise Paula Nazzinda, Brand Manager, Premium Beers, UBL. “From the first whistle to the final matchday, we’ve brought fans closer to the game they love through unforgettable experiences. Kampala showed up in full force, and we couldn’t have asked for a better finale. The Guinness Matchday on Tour is not over, the experience will be back next season with even bigger and better matchday experiences”.

As the official beer sponsor of the Premier League, Guinness continues to bring communities together through the power of football, music, and shared experiences.
